Position Details: MS Guidance Counselor (Gen-ed) Title: MS Guidance Counselor (Gen-ed) Location: Forest Lake MN Duration: 12-Jan-2026 to 05-Jun-2026 Onsite/Virtual: Onsite Position Type: Contract Working Hours: 35 to 37.5 hours weekly from Monday to Friday Student Age Group: Middle school Responsibilities: MS Guidance Counselor (Gen-ed) Provide individual and group counseling to support students academic emotional and personal growth. Collaborate with teachers parents and administrators to implement interventions that promote student success. Assist in creating and reviewing IEPs and 504 plans for students with special needs. Participate in meetings with school staff and families to offer guidance and strategies for academic or behavioral concerns. Perform other related duties as needed. Qualifications: MS Guidance Counselor (Gen-ed) Masters degree in School Counseling Counseling or related field from an accredited university. Active state-level licensure and/or certification as a School Counselor. Experience working in schools or with children is required. Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
