MSN Adjunct Faculty Onsite Teaching (Salem OH) at University of Rio Grande--Rio Grande Community College

The University of Rio Grandes Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) Program is seeking a qualified Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialists to join our part-time faculty pool in Salem Ohioforface to faceonsite classroom instruction.The MSN part-time faculty member will provide on-site classroom instruction for graduate nursing students enrolled in the Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist (AG-CNS) MSN program. This role focuses on delivering high-quality education fostering clinical reasoning and supporting student success in advanced practice nursing.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Teach assigned graduate-level courses in the AG-CNS curriculum in a face-to-face classroom setting.Prepare and deliver lecturesfacilitatediscussionsandassess student learning outcomes.Collaborate with full-time faculty to ensure course content aligns with program goals and national CNS competencies.Providetimelyfeedback and academic support to students.Maintainaccuraterecords of student performance and attendance.Participate in faculty meetings and professional development activities asappropriate.QUALIFICATIONS:Doctoral degree (DNP or PhD)preferredMaster of Science in Nursing (MSN)required.National certification as an Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist.Current unencumberedOhioRN license.Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in adult or gerontological nursing.Prior teaching experience in higher education preferred.PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES:Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Commitment to excellence in teaching and student engagement.Familiarity with adult learning principles and graduate-level education.Ability to work autonomously under supervisedmentorshipWORK SCHEDULE:Part-time with flexible scheduling based on course assignments.On-site instructionrequired; no remote teaching responsibilities.APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:For full consideration please submit a cover letter CV/resume transcripts (unofficial accepted for application purposes) and the names and contact information of at least three (3) professional references to: Dr. Renee Ingel MSN Program Director through the Universitys online application portal.Review of applications and positions are filled throughout the year based on need.
