Title: Senior MVNO Network & Device Escalation Engineer Location: Philadelphia PA (4 days onsite) Open to relocation Duration: Longterm Role Overview: Seeking a hands-on analyst to manage SIM/eSIM provisioning and activation triage across MVNO/MVNE stacks troubleshoot network and telephony issues (Voice/VoLTE/VoNR SMS MMS Data RCS) and resolve OEM-specific cases (Apple iOS Android). This role ensures reliable activation and service through technical analysis cross-carrier coordination and SLA-driven resolution. Key Responsibilities SIM/eSIM Provisioning & Activation: Diagnose activation failures (entitlement subscription mismatch profile errors) execute provisioning flows. Network & Telephony Triage: Troubleshoot Voice/SMS/Data issues across 2G 5G; analyze SIP/IMS Diameter PCRF/PCF; identify RAN/Core/device/APN issues. OEM Resolution: Apple iOS: Carrier bundle checks entitlement iMessage/FaceTime Wi-Fi Calling sysdiagnose logs eSIM management. Android: TelephonyManager adb/logcat RCS diagnostics SIM toolkit parsing. Coordinate escalations with MVNE/MNO and OEM partners; document defects. Preferred Skills Tools: Kibana/Grafana sysdiagnose Xcode Instruments Postman. Knowledge: Entitlement Servers carrier certification 5G SA IMS/SIP DNS basics. Familiarity: LNP E911 Short Codes. Scripting: Python/Shell for tests and data extraction. Certifications (Nice to Have) GSMA eSIM/eUICC 3GPP IMS/VoLTE WCNA ITIL Foundation.
