Anticipated work schedule is 50 hours per week. Project Duration is 1 yearJob Title: NACE Inspector (Regular Full Time)Location: Ingleside TXWhat youll do:Duties:Capture results of inspection / observations and report in timely mannerEnsure suppliers /contractors have relevant up to date codes standards specifications and drawingsInterface with the discipline engineer construction engineer field workers and inspectors in a professional mannerWitness and monitor suppliers / contractors work activities inspection and test in accordance with the approved Quality Plan ITP Quality Procedures and etc.Assist review of Quality Plan Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) and Quality Procedures and all pertained QA/QC documentation prior to commencement of any fabrication / construction workVerify that correct / sufficient materials are available on siteVerify the implementation of PTW (permit to work) LOTO (lock-out and tag-out) and other safety proceduresPhysical Requirements for this role:Must be able to walk long distancesMust be able to climb stoop kneel crouch and crawlMust be able to stand for extended durationsMust be able to reach in all directionsMust have good visual acuity with regards to color depth perception and field visionMust be able to work in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold temperaturesMust be alert and able to determine job related hazards and recognize when hazards changeMust be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally. Preferably holds current certification in Swagelok and Parker tubing fitting installation (Will accept expired certification depending on experienceQualifications:Minimum NACE Level 2 certificationCoating and fireproofing inspection experience requiredProficient in use and calibration of coating inspection toolsAble to work and communicate in a team environmentA career with Intertek means joining a global network of professionals dedicated to bringing quality and safety to life.
