Financial Program Controls Analyst
The Naval Power Portfolio is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Program Controls Analyst to join the Naval Power Directorate. This role offers a significant growth opportunity for an ambitious individual to work closely with program leadership, including Program Managers, technical leaders, and functional support teams.
The Financial Program Controls Analyst will play a critical role in the setup and execution of multiple contracts. Key responsibilities include providing essential financial oversight and guidance to ensure program success. In this role, you will collaborate with a group of internal and external customers, gaining exposure to multiple facets of finance and the broader organization.
What You Will Do
- Providing critical financial oversight and guidance for the contracts they maintain.
- Partnership with Program Management and cross functional leads to support program execution.
- Support of all programs financial aspects including financial planning (LRP, AOP, Working Capital, Monthly Financial Performance Reporting, Variance Analysis, Data Review and Reporting and NBI).
- Program controls such as developing estimates at complete (EACs) and execution of EVM.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Experience and understanding of the program business role, SAP, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), and/or experience with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) concepts.
- Experience with computer/Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- An active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

- Experience managing multiple DoD contracts.
- Experience in using SAP Business Systems APEX EV & PRISM EV.
