We are looking for a NC Engineer Lead to join our growing team.This position is located on-site in Hamilton Washington StatePOSITION DESCRIPTIONNC Engineer Leads are responsible for managing a group of NC Engineers that create and maintaining NC Programming and machining processes. An ideal candidatewill have management experience strong communication skills an aptitude for CNC and machining processes and should be technically knowledgeable of a wide range of manufacturing aspects. Activities will include management CNC programming machining process development ownership of machining related projects including any pre and post machining operations. The following essential job functions are performed as a NC Engineer Lead:Directly mentors and offers leadership and training to employees and coworkers.Monitors employees and enforced compliance with established procedures; provides related training for individuals and groups as necessary. Manages team assignments schedules and effectivenessEnsures company directives are implemented and maintainedLeads initiatives such as new process integration new machine standup software development and integration product development etc.Provide bid support and process direction to new or incoming projectsMaintains an overview of production processes and facilities Develops and executes high level and detailed project plans including managing schedules and budgetsWorks directly with the customer technical team to determine detailed requirements and deliverables communicates or presents to customer on project status or healthInteracts frequently with shop floor to ensure project healthCompletes and understands all quality requirements for projectsManages project scope and performs risk assessmentsShall at all times demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisorsMust have excellent communication skills both verbal and written in the English languageMust be at work on time and maintain good attendance this is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the jobPerforms other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSDue to our ITAR and EAR regulations applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEA Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Engineering Technology Industrial Design Technology or a similar field is required 5 years CNC programming/machining experience3 years management/leadership experienceMust be familiar with Microsoft Office products; experience with NX and SAP is desirableA combination of Extensive work experience (10 Years) and other education may be substituted for a Bachelors DegreeMust have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English languageMust be familiar with a variety of the fields concepts practices and proceduresMust be able to rely on extensive experience problem-solving skills and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsMust have excellent communication skills both verbal and written in the English languageADDITIONAL INFORMATION -Salary range for this role is between$105000 - $150000 plus discretionary bonus 401(k) matching vacation and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts. The range provided is Janickis estimate of the base compensation for this role.
