Carle Health is seeking Neonatal Physician Assistants to join our Level III NICU team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.Full-time and part-time positions availableJoin a growing team of 8 Nurse Practitioners and 6 Neonatologists48-bed NICU including a 14-bed step-down unitDedicated 24-hour Neonatologist Physician team coverageSchedule will consist of a combination of 10-24 hour shifts, depending on experience600+ admissions and 3000+ deliveries per yearAttend high risk deliveries and perform standard NICU procedures such as: intubation, lumbar punctures, PICC lines, Umbilical Catheterization, and chest tubesDedicated Neonatal and Perinatal air and ground transport teamFlexible schedule including evenings/nights and holidaysEducation Requirements:Master's degree in Physician AssistantPA applicants will need to have completed a NICU APP Fellowship or have previous experience practicing as a NICU PALicensure/Certification Requirements:Current Illinois physician assistant licensure
