Job Opportunity: Neonatologist We have an exciting opportunity for a Neonatologist to join our NICU team of 4 Neonatologists and 3 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at a premier healthcare facility in beautiful Charleston, WV. This location features a Level-IV, 30-bed NICU and provides comprehensive services to a wide array of patients, with strong support from pediatric sub-specialists across more than 30 specialties. Work in an environment that not only emphasizes high-quality patient care but also offers teaching opportunities with medical students and residents. Job Responsibilities: Provide 24/7 in-house coverage in a busy Level-IV NICU. Attend deliveries as required. Support a team managing approximately 3,000 annual births and related admissions. Offer consultative services in collaboration with pediatric sub-specialists. Participate in teaching opportunities with medical students and residents. Option to cover at a nearby Level-II NICU. Maintain excellent communication with families and multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. 3+ years of experience in a busy Level-III/IV NICU preferred. Strong collaborative and communication skills. Experience in a teaching role is a plus. New graduates encouraged to apply. License and Certification Requirements: WV medical license (or willingness to obtain). DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start).
