It's recognized for its commitment to healthcare excellence with a Level II Special Care Nursery that provides care for infants with a 30-week or longer gestational age and a birth weight of greater than 1,250 grams. The hospital is working toward Level III NICU designation and features a collaborative environment with trained pediatricians, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, rehabilitation services, and neonatal nutritionists.Opportunity:Physician - NeonatologyJob Details:• Per Diem Neonatologist position with immediate dates needed: 12/13, 12/14, 12/21-12/28, 12/31• Neonatologist covers Level II NICU and newborn nursery• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for premature and critically ill newborns• Enjoy a supportive work environment and access to advanced technology in the state-of-the-art NICU facility• Provide family-centered care and support parents during their newborn's NICU stay• Foster strong communication and collaboration with families and healthcare team• Shifts are 24 hours rounding plus call from home/hotel• Board Certification in Neonatology required (not accepting BE)• Active Texas medical license required - no exceptions for quick credentialing• Must have been clinically active within the past year• Minimum of 6 months clinical experience within neonatology• Clean background/no malpractice history due to fast credentialing processCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
