We’re seeking a clinical nephrologist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology, Hypertension, and Transplantation at our flagship campus in the Texas Medical Center. This is a premier growing academic division dedicated to providing exceptional clinical care and engaged in extensive teaching and research activities within the department and institution.

 

The ideal candidate will possess clinical expertise across the full spectrum of nephrology, including kidney transplantation, and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in patient care, teaching, and the academic mission of the division. This role includes providing comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including outpatient dialysis, with opportunities to participate in innovative care models and contribute to continued program growth.

 

Qualifications:

 

  1. Residency: Completion of a residency program in Internal Medicine (preferred)
  2. Fellowship: Completion of an accredited Nephrology fellowship
  3. Licensure: Valid medical license to practice in TX
  4. Certification: BC/BE in Nephrology
