.NET Software Engineer II at Lighthouse Technology Services

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill Software Engineer II position! This is a 12 month contract opportunity based in Buffalo NY and will be remote in the United States (working EST hours). This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.Position Overview:Were seeking a strong Software Engineer to help build the foundational layer between database systems and identity/user access layers. This role focuses on building clean compliant API translations and requires someone who understands and drives solutions across the full software development lifecycle.What Youll Be Doing:Design build and maintain software solutions that connect database systems with ID and user access layers.Develop compliant API translations to ensure secure and scalable data access.Lead or contribute meaningfully to the full software development lifecycle (design development testing deployment support).Solve complex technical problems with thoughtful scalable solutions.Collaborate with other engineers architects and product stakeholders to translate business needs into technical designs.Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members as needed.Drive quality and maintainability by following engineering best practices and coding standards.Participate in system design discussions and architecture reviews.What Youll Need to Have:Proven experience as a true Software Engineer with full SDLC ownership.Ability to design and build software solutions independently not just perform task-based development.Strong foundation in software engineering principles.Flexibility to work across programming languages as needed (Ideal experience C# React).Hands-on experience with Imperative Programming Microservices and Web Development.Experience designing compliant APIs and system integrations.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Experience working in large-scale or enterprise environments preferred.Domain experience is flexible (finance is a plus but not required).Pay Range:$55-$70/hrQuestions about any of our jobs Email us atView all of our open jobs here: Key Skills Entity Framework,MVC,Wcf,.NET,ASP.NET,Microsoft SQL Server,C#,Visual Studio,TFS,ADO.NET,JavaScript,Visual Basic Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Monthly Salary Salary: 55 - 70
