Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:The Network Administrator supports CNSL network systems by configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting routers, switches, servers, and wireless networks. Responsibilities include applying security updates, enforcing baseline configurations, supporting “hotel services” shipboard networks, conducting routine health checks, responding to outages, and documenting network configurations for compliance and accreditation.This role ensures network availability, supports cybersecurity personnel, and maintains secure and efficient communications infrastructure.Requirements:5–7 years of experience as a network administrator in DoD or enterprise environments.Proficiency with Cisco switches/routers, VLANs, wireless systems, and network security protocols.Experience applying STIGs or following other DoD configuration guidelines.Ability to conduct hardware troubleshooting and performance monitoring.Understanding of RMF requirements and support for accreditation documentation.Strong diagnostic and analytical skills.
