The objective of the Space Protection and Response Solutions is to provide innovative technology solutions to ensure our Nations space mission capabilities in a multi-domain joint and coalition conflict.As a Network Administrator you will implement and maintain our organizations network infrastructure. Your role will involve overseeing network administration troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring the performance availability and security of our network systems.What You Will Do Install configure and troubleshoot WAN/LAN equipment including routers switches multiplexers and VPNs Manage internetworking protocols (IP VLANs VTP OSPF EIGRP BGP multicast) across Cisco Juniper and Brocade platforms Perform packet-level diagnostics using NetFlow protocol analyzers sniffers and log analysis Apply DoD STIGs to network devices and ensure compliance with security policies Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds Assist in network design documentation and implementation Support cross-domain connectivity and implement robust network security measures Perform additional duties as assignedWhat You Must Have 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience. Experience in network operations and support within DoD or federal environments Hands-on experience with cross-domain solutions and network security planning Must have an Active DoD Top Secret clearance Must have Security or equivalent IAT Level II certificationPreferred Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related discipline.
