This work is located onsite in Manassas Virginia and has a normal 9-10 work schedule. Ability to obtain a secret clearance is a requirement for this position.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESNetwork Integration experience for a variety of network protocol standardsExperience analyzing VLANs spanning-tree routing (static and dynamically implemented protocols) ACLs IP addressing and subnettingKnowledge of packet analysis tools such as Wireshark or Sniffers.Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education with 3 years of professional experience.Strong communication skills and experience verbal and written.Must be able to obtain and keep a DoD Secret Clearance must be a U.S. Citizen.Desired Skills:Network development and integration experience for a variety of network protocol standards including TCP/IP HSRP/VRRP RIP OSPF BGP RSTP (802.1w) MSTP (802.1s) DHCP 802.1q tagging multicast PAgP or LACP (EtherChannel) QoS and Active-Active technologies (vPC and IRF)Experience architecting and building complex super computing networks.Strong network troubleshooting and problem identificationFamiliarity with network device vendors such as Cisco and AristaFamiliarity with 1/10/25/40/100 Gig protocols serial and satellite links cable standards and optical specifications/requirements.Familiarity with Linux OS SNMP Python and Bash is a plusKnowledge of TCP/UDP protocol packet format desirableKnowledge of Software Define Networking using OVS is a plusKnowledge of Kubernetes is a plusKnowledge of VxLAN is a plusCraig Technologies is an EEO Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion sex national origin age disability genetics or any other non-job-related protected status.
