Network EngineerContract Length: 6-month Contract to HireLocation: Ft. Worth. TXHybrid **On-site 3 days and remote 2 days per week**Were seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support and enhance our clients enterprise networking this role youll design maintain and optimize reliable network solutions strengthen security and ensure smooth day-to-day operations across multiple systems and platforms. Youll work in a collaborative fast-paced technology environment with exposure to modern networking and cloud technologies while having clear opportunities to influence infrastructure and security improvements. This position offers competitive pay strong benefits and an employer-supported 401(k).Qualifications and RequirementsBachelors degree in IT Computer Science or similar field5 years of hands-on experience with enterprise networkingCCNA or CCNP requiredStrong background with Cisco routing and switchingWorking knowledge of protocols such as OSPF EIGRP and BGPExperience with DNS/DHCP firewalls VPNs and authentication toolsFamiliarity with cloud networking concepts preferably AzureUnderstanding of VoIP solutions and network monitoring platformsEffective communication teamwork and problem-solving skills is a mustAbility to lift and install networking equipmentResponsibilitiesDeploy configure and maintain network infrastructure and related systemsSupport routing switching wireless and voice technologiesMonitor network performance and quickly resolve issuesMaintain diagrams documentation and change recordsWork with vendors and service providers on installations and repairsAssist with network security controls firewalls VPNs and policy updatesParticipate in disaster recovery planning and testingContribute to team projects and general IT initiativesGenius Road LLC is proud to be a Certified Womens Business Enterprise an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity.
