Job Description

DescriptionIn this role the Network Engineer will support the design deployment and overall health of our network infrastructure. You will work with a range of technologies to maintain LAN/WAN and wireless environments conduct system analysis and assist with long-range network planning. The position offers the opportunity to manage multiple projects troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to a stable efficient network experience for users across the organization. This is a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented technically skilled and committed to maintaining high-quality network performance.ResponsibilitiesPerform telecommunications network analysis design implementation and maintenance across the organization.Conduct engineering studies to determine system requirements and long-range network planning.Design and deploy LANs WANs and wireless networks including servers routers switches hubs UPS systems and related hardware.Analyze and resolve network hardware and software issues efficiently and accurately.Create and maintain documentation for network configurations network mapping processes and service records.Provide end-user support and training when needed.Manage multiple projects simultaneously without direct supervisory responsibilities.QualificationsBachelors degree in IT Computer Science or a technology-related field; OR equivalent experience.Two years of experience in a related IT role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.CCNA Route & Switch certification or equivalent demonstrated knowledge.Strong hardware troubleshooting experience.Working technical knowledge of network hardware protocols and internet standards.Hands-on experience with routers switches firewalls load balancers and network monitoring tools.Ability to research and evaluate networking issues tools and solutions.Strong documentation and analytical skills.Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.On-call availability up to 10 days per month.Ability to sit for extended periods and operate computers tools and network equipment.Ability to inspect cabling in floors/ceilings and lift moderately heavy hardware.May require travel including occasional overnight stays.
