Job Title: Network Engineer Consultant Location: Cayce SC (Hybrid 3 days onsite) Duration: 12 MonthsPosition OverviewNavitas Partners LLC is seeking Network Engineer Consultantfor an exciting job in Cayce SC.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in cross-functional teams supporting server hosting initiatives including segmentation modernization and remediation activities.Assist with planning design installation configuration and conversion of physical and virtual server environments.Coordinate daily tasks and project milestones with IT Section Managers and Team Leads.Provide guidance on hardware configurations system implementation and technical standards.Collaborate with vendors and internal technical teams on troubleshooting issue resolution and conversion tasks.Implement and maintain access controls security baselines and audit logging aligned with CIS NIST and organizational security policies.Work with Cybersecurity teams to address vulnerabilities respond to incidents and strengthen security posture.Provide Tier 3 escalation support for complex identity access or authentication issues.Partner with network server and support teams to ensure infrastructure needs are met.Participate in infrastructure upgrades migrations cloud integrations and modernization projects.Prepare technical documentation implementation plans and system enhancement roadmaps.Ensure timely and accurate work completion escalate issues appropriately and provide status reporting.Maintain adherence to agency IT standards policies and documentation requirements.RequirementsEducation:Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.Required Skills:5 years of experience with Windows Server environments5 years with Group Policy (GPO) and PowerShell5 years with Microsoft Active Directory5 years with enterprise Backup and Disaster Recovery5 years with computer and network hardware software and operating systems2 years with security and data classification frameworks (CDC HIPAA CJIS etc.)3 years in IT system analysis design testing and maintenancePreferred Skills:Experience with Hyper-VExperience with Linux Server or AIXExperience with tools such as DataDobi SolarWinds LansweeperExperience with Citrix Presentation Server or XenAppFor more details reach atAbout Navitas Partners LLC:It is a certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growingTechnical / ITstaffing firms in the US providing services to numerous clients.
