Job Title: Network Engineer IPv6 Design & Deployment Location: Alpharetta GA (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite) Duration: 12 Months Client: Morgan Stanley Interview Mode: In-Person (Local Candidates Only) Employment Type: Contract (W2/C2C) Notes: Only local candidates who can attend in-person interviews will be considered This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite per week in Alpharetta GA Job Description: Morgan Stanley is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with deep expertise in IPv6 design and deployment to join its Global Network Architecture team. This role will lead the firms first IPv6 Proof of Concept (PoC) and drive its integration into the production environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco (NXOS IOSXE IOSXR) Arista and public cloud networking along with strong collaboration and documentation skills. Responsibilities: Lead the design planning and implementation of the firms first IPv6 PoC and production rollout Define and document IPv6 addressing strategies routing protocols and transition techniques Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security cloud platform testing) to validate IPv6 design decisions Provide subject matter expertise on IPv6 across enterprise and public cloud environments Configure test and troubleshoot Cisco and Arista network infrastructure for IPv6 functionality Develop runbooks SOPs and training materials for team readiness Ensure IPv6 solutions meet performance scalability and security requirements Stay current on IPv6 standards best practices and industry trends Act as a technical leader and mentor to junior engineers Required Skills: 5 6 years of experience in network engineering (routing/switching) Proven experience in IPv6 design deployment and troubleshooting Hands-on expertise with Cisco IOSXE NX-OS IOSXR and Arista EOS Strong understanding of routing protocols: MP-BGP OSPFv3 VXLAN EVPN Familiarity with IPv6 transition technologies: dual-stack tunneling NAT64 Experience with public cloud networking (AWS Azure or GCP) including IPv6 services Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to lead projects and drive technical initiatives independently Preferred Qualifications: Experience in large-scale financial enterprise or service provider networks Familiarity with network automation tools: Python Ansible Terraform Knowledge of IPv6-related security best practices Relevant certifications: CCNP/CCIE Arista ACE AWS/Azure/GCP Networking Specialty Key Skills Jenkins,Python,Active Directory,VMware,Engineering,Tcp/IP,Deskstops,OS,Windows,Database,Linux,Java,Troubleshoot,Technical Support Experience: years Vacancy: 1
