To promote the success of CNU students as we assist them in achieving their goal of graduation.Purpose of the Position:Assists with the review and certification of credit hours for VA education programs toward approved academic programs. To serve as a VA certifying official by reviewing claims for VA benefits, primarily for Post-911 GI Bill recipients, and by submitting certifications/verifications through the Enrollment Manager portal on a regular basis, both pre- and post-registration. To assist students with questions related to VA benefits, in-person, over the phone, and via email. Assists with the day-to-day operations of addressing the needs associated with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs benefits, Federal policies, and state and institutional policies and regulations as related to students of military families. Familiarization and ability to interpret and communicate complex University policies and federal laws, such as the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.
