Title: Neurology Advanced Practice Provider (APP)Schedule: Full-Time (Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm)Location: Arlington, VACompensation: Competitive base salaryNeurology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing Neurology and Neurosurgery team. This unique position includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, offering variety and opportunities to expand your expertise.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide care to patients across both Neurology Stroke and Neurosurgery service linesConduct outpatient visitsPerform histories, neurological assessments, and post-op follow-upsCollaborate with attending physicians and APP colleagues to create individualized treatment plansEducate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, and ongoing careContribute to inpatient rounding, admissions, and consults as neededOur TeamYou’ll be supported by a Supervising APP who provides mentorship and guidance, as well as a collaborative group of:4 Neurologists1 Neurosurgeon4 Advanced Practice ProvidersMinimum RequirementsMaster’s degree in Nursing or Certified Physician Assistant from an accredited program.Certification as an NP by an accredited certifying body (e.g., ANCC, AANP).Neurology or Neurosurgery experience preferred, but not required.Training and familiarity in the use of EPIC (EMR) preferred.We look forward to hearing from qualified candidates interested in joining us in a highly collegial environment where the patient is at the center of what we do.HOW TO APPLY?Interested and qualified candidates should send a letter of interest and copy of their CV to Andrea Bell, Director of Recruitment at [email protected].
