Position Overview:Aspirus Spine & Neurosciences is seeking a locum Neurosurgery Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dedicated and collaborative team in Wausau, Wisconsin. This is a full-time locum position with an ongoing need, ideal for a skilled PA with neurosurgical experience who enjoys both inpatient and outpatient care.Assignment Details:Start Date: As soon as credentialedSchedule: Monday – Friday, full-timeSetting: Inpatient rounding (AM) + outpatient clinic (PM)Patient Volume: 10–15 patients/dayEMR: EpicCredentialing Timeframe: Up to 90 days (expedited process available)WI License: RequiredTeam Structure & Support:You will be part of a collaborative neurosurgery team that includes:2 Neurosurgeons4 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs)3 Registered Nurses (RNs)2 Medical Assistants (MAs)4 Office Staff MembersThis locum PA will work closely with 1 neurosurgeon and 2 other PAs, providing comprehensive neurosurgical care. The clinic is conveniently located on the 3rd floor of Aspirus Wausau Hospital.Key Responsibilities:Conduct daily inpatient rounding each morningProvide follow-up and consultative care in the outpatient clinic each afternoonCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient careDocument patient encounters and care plans using Epic EMRQualifications:Active Physician Assistant license in Wisconsin (required)Prior neurosurgery or surgical PA experience strongly preferredAbility to manage a dynamic caseload with autonomy and confidenceComfortable working in both inpatient and outpatient settingsAbout Jobot HealthAt Jobot Health, we’re committed to making your locum tenens experience seamless and rewarding.
