Serve as a mentor for residents fellows and medical students in Department of Neurosurgery and Neuroscience Institute. The department has active clinical and translational research programs as well as numerous on-going clinical trials. Department of Neurosurgery at Baylor Scott & White Health (Central) has a fully accredited seven-year neurosurgery residency program and is the only academic Neurosurgery Department in Central Texas with ten full-time faculty members in a major teaching hospital a level-I Trauma Center and Joint Commission Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center.
