Design, identify, communicate, gather necessary resources, assign task, and implement a delivery plan for completing the project on time and within budget. Monitor progress and performance against the project, plan versus actual.  Resolve quality problems and minimize delays. Coordinate with other areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project.  Support project meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team.  Coach and mentor project staff and assist them to solve problems.Responsibilities include:Formulate and execute proactive quality management strategies such as New Model Review (NMR), A-rank Prevention, High Accuracy Body by leveraging data-driven insights to mitigate risk and ensure production readiness.  Create, maintain and manage project schedule to meet overall schedule milestones as well as specific quality-related deliverablesLead strategic resolution of New Model Department specific quality problems by analysing root causes related to supplier design, tooling, or processes and contributes actionable ideas to assure countermeasure application before mass production start of new modelsIndependently summarize Department activity, conduct periodic reviews with Department & Division management to confirm supplier development status.  This includes Quality Development strategy items such as Kinogai, NMR, Product Validation Testing, Government Certification, Trial Event Receiving Inspection, Minimum Process Requirements, Process Assurance Capability Verfication, Part Approval.Report departments project status, clarifying risk and path forward at New Model evaluations (E-Flow, Q-Flow, We Are Ready, QSD) to Procurement Senior Management Communicate and collaborate across DEB areas of the business to share ideas and reach consensus.  Share project requirements to Department team and suppliersRepresent the Department independently in project team meetings, theme activity, and evaluationsMentor associates within group on problem solving, procedures, and fostering developmentWho we are seeking: Required Work Experience:8+ Years’ of relevant professional experienceRequired Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experienceDesired skills:Strong project management experienceTechnical analysisNorth American theme leadershipPart approval expertiseStrength in problem solvingCatia, proficient in MicrosoftGood organization skillsLeadership experienceAdditional Position Factors:Office base + remote work with travel required.
