New Product Development Engineer at Regal Rexnord

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated New Product Development (NPD) Engineer to join our New Product Development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing technology and a passion for innovation. This role involves designing developing and implementing new motor products from concept to production.Key Responsibilities:Work closely with R&D during prototype phases to understand design concept and provide input on build processCollaborate with design and engineering teams to develop manufacturing processes for new platform motor designs and customer-specific designs.Develop the manufacturing process for new servo and brushless motor productsConduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to determine the best manufacturing methods.Design and implement production workflows equipment and tooling.Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Investigate and propose potential areas for automation during the new product development process as well as with newly launched programs.Develop process documentation including work instructions and standard operating procedures.Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related issues.Design and implement tooling to facilitate building motor components prioritizing safety quality and productivity.Stay current with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology.Support manufacturing ramp-up through troubleshooting and effective problem-solvingDrive yield and manufacturability improvements while maintaining quality and safety standardsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering preferably with new product development experience.Proficiency in CAD software.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes materials equipment and tooling design.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.Willingness to travel up to 20%.Restrictions imposed by federal export control laws may limit this job opportunity to candidates who are a U.S. Person which includes U.S. citizens U.S. nationals U.S. permanent residents individuals granted asylum in the United States and refugees in the United States.BenefitsMedical Dental Vision and Prescription Drug CoverageSpending accounts (HSA Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA)Paid Time Off and Holidays401k Retirement Plan with Matching Employer ContributionsLife and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) InsurancePaid LeavesTuition AssistanceAbout Regal RexnordRegal Rexnord is a publicly held global industrial manufacturer with 30000 associates around the world who help create a better tomorrow by providing sustainable solutions that power transmit and control motion.
