You’ll help create an exceptional experience for every guest who visits our fresh meat department — whether they’re picking out a favorite cut for a family dinner or planning a special occasion.What You’ll DoCut, trim, and prepare fresh beef, pork, and other meat according to Meijer’s quality standards.Follow production schedules to meet daily and promotional needs.Ensure displays are well-stocked, visually appealing, and maintained with care.Assist with ordering, receiving, and organizing fresh meat deliveries.Uphold food safety and sanitation procedures to the highest standard.Deliver warm, friendly customer service and build relationships with guests.Partner with team members and leadership to keep the department running smoothly.What You’ll BringPassion for fresh food and craftsmanship in meat cutting.Knowledge of weights, measures, and proper cutting techniques.Attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety.Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a team environment.Prior meat-cutting or butchery experience required —we’re happy to train you the Meijer way!Hand jack/Hilo license a plus.Why You’ll Love Working HereAt Meijer, you’re family.
