Job Description

We are looking to add a Night Auditor to our team. This position is for someone who thrives while others sleep is comfortable owning guest opportunities and enjoys working when its quiet. This is a great opportunity to be a part of an organization that believes our team members are our most important resource and therefore take great pride in selecting individuals that help us to achieve our companys mission.Benefits:Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k)Free Meal for every shift workedEmployer Provided Uniforms25% Discount in Resort OutletsHotel Discounts with OPLFriends and Family DiscountResponsibilities:Posts room charges and taxes to guest accountsProcesses guest charges voucher and credit card vouchersPost charges to the guest accounts that have not been posted or were incurred on the night audit shiftTransfer charges and deposits to master accountsChecks to see that all charges are assigned to the appropriate departmentsTo verify that all transactions performed at the front desk are supported by documentary evidence and signatures as necessary and that they have been correctly posted and allocated in to PMS systemTo Verify that all charges posted from the POS Software SPA software had reached the correct guest folios and also not missingPrints up and files reservations for the next business dayVerifies all account postings and balancesVerifies that room rates are correct and posts those rates to guest accountsMonitors the current status of coupon discount and other promotional programsIs able to function as a front desk agent especially in terms of check-in and check-out proceduresPrepares a summary of cash check and credit card activitiesSummarizes results of operations for managementCheck figures postings and documents for accuracyRecord store access and/or analyze computerized financial informationPrepare of End of day procedureFollow the End of Day / Night Audit Checklist (Must Read !)Balance the days charges making corrections as necessaryPerforms wake-up callsRun end of day process in property management software (PMS)Respond to guest needs special requests and complaints and alert the appropriate manager as neededQualifications:Understand principles of auditing balancing and closing out accountsKnows how to operate PMS PCs and other front office equipmentsMust have complete knowledge of emergency proceduresHigh school diploma or GEDPrevious experience is a plusThe company also conducts post-offer employment verifications motor vehicle and criminal background checks.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
