Job Title: Night RN Emergency Department (Float Pool)Location: Syracuse NY 13210 Duration:15 weeks Shift: Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:30 AM 12.5 hrs/day Schedule: 3 shifts per week (37.5 hrs/week) Every other weekend some holidaysJob DescriptionWe are seeking skilled and experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses to join the night shift float pool team at a high-acuity healthcare facility. Nurses in this role will care for both adult and pediatric patients and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency environment.Candidates should have trauma center experience and be able to float within emergency care units as needed.ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality nursing care to Adult & Pediatric Emergency Department patientsPerform triage assessments interventions and ongoing monitoringRespond effectively to critical/emergent situationsUtilize Electronic Medical Records (EPIC preferred)Collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsMaintain strict adherence to facility policies safety protocols and documentation standardsWork night shifts consistently with minimal supervisionQualificationsActive Registered Nurse license (New York State)Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience within the last 2 yearsEmergency Department experience requiredExperience with Adult and Pediatric ED patientsLevel 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience preferredExperience with EPIC EMR strongly preferredBLS certification (must be able to renew as required)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsMust pass pre-employment health screening background check & drug screenMust have legal authorization to work in the U.S.No history of license suspension investigation or malpractice claimsFor more details reach at About Navitas Healthcare LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
