Job Title: Nights RN Inpatient Pediatrics (Biobehavioral Health Unit) Location: Syracuse NY 13210 Duration:15 weeks Shift: Night Shift 12 hours/day 3 days/week (36 hrs/week) Schedule: Every other weekend some holidays requiredJob DescriptionWe are seeking experienced Night Shift Registered Nurses to join an Inpatient Pediatrics Biobehavioral Health Unit. The RN will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced pediatric environment including behavioral healthrelated needs. Candidates must be comfortable floating to all pediatric locations as needed.ResponsibilitiesDeliver safe and effective patient care in an inpatient pediatric/behavioral health settingPerform comprehensive patient assessments and provide clinical interventionsUtilize Electronic Medical Records (EPIC preferred)Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient outcomesFloat to different pediatric units based on operational needsWork every other weekend and selected holidaysQualificationsCurrent and active Registered Nurse license (New York State)Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care RN experience within the last 2 yearsAt least 2 years of behavioral health experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centerBLS certification (must be able to recertify as required)Prior experience in a facility of similar size and acuityStrong interpersonal and communication skillsEPIC EMR experience preferredMust meet pre-employment health clearance drug screening and background check requirementsMust have the legal right to work in the U.S.No history of license suspension investigation or professional liability claimsFor more details reach at About Navitas Healthcare LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
