Through diagnostic services and practitioner-led coaching the Institute enables campus leaders to implement proven student-success systems and data-driven interventions and to enact systemic change to institutional processes and structures.The Ed Tech Specialist Lead brings an audience-first approach to develop online instructional materials for NISS partners by promoting new learning technologies delivery strategies and pedagogy options for Program Advisors and higher education practitioners. Under the supervision of the Senior Director Educational Programs the position develops resources and services including tailored training programs online reference materials learning modules and seminars ranging across enrollment management and student success innovations and best practices. Primary responsibilities include the development of cutting-edge digestible content including but not limited to webinars podcasts interviews and interactive learning modules.The position will play a critical role in the development and dissemination of online materials focusing on proven strategies that can positively impact student progression retention and graduation. The position also assists in planning and overseeing the content strategy requirements and deliverables that support the NISS brand across web social media and other digital platforms associated with the NISS online platforms. Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to conduct needs assessment; design and develop high-quality online courses incorporating a variety of effective instructional tools and technology; create appropriate content and recommend approaches to meet intended learning outcomesfollowing appropriate legal ethical and procedural guidelines and practices including accessibility. Work with designers to create on-brand materials in a variety of digital and analogue formats including but not limited to: PDF PowerPoint Video Audio Modules Create useful accessible content specifically intended for online publication Promote content strategy at the NISS and in the broader community of design and content professionals Test document and perform quality assurance on all informational content related to and generated by NISS programs Where needed assist in the production and integration of digital materials for marketing campaigns to various NISS stakeholders Support the Senior Director Educational Programs in the creation and maintenance of an NISS digital editorial strategy developing and documenting the voice tone style and key messaging concepts for the lnstitutes web and digital presence Support continued development of cutting-edge digestible content including but not limited to webinars podcasts interviews and interactive learning modules.
