Program Manager, Practice Management and TeamingFull-Time, Hybrid, SpringfieldThe OpportunityAs Program Manager, you will lead critical initiatives, drive continuous platform improvements, oversee operations, and deliver advanced client support for the Practice Management and Teaming organization. You will demonstrate high attention to detail, project planning expertise, creative problem-solving skills, an unwavering client service orientation, and an ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects.The TeamAt MM Wealth Management, we understand that the financial landscape is constantly evolving. Our objective is to increase advisor growth, productivity, retention, and recruiting.The Practice Management consulting team supports advisors in all aspects of leading their businesses, including strategic planning, human capital, systemization, client value creation, business structures, financial management, organic growth, practice acquisitions, and succession. The Teaming platform offers a comprehensive mix of team-based compensation, recognition, reporting, and resources to help advisors build thriving teams.The Impact:Manage critical initiatives for the Practice Management and Teaming organization, including the creation and execution of project plansOversee delivery of the Practice Management service model and implement a triage system for incoming engagement requestsPartner with senior Practice Management consultants to continuously build and promote new practice management resources for advisorsManage implementation of an upcoming Teaming platform transformationOversee the day-to-day operations for the Teaming platform to ensure accurate and efficient administrationDevelop deep expertise of the Teaming platforms compensation programs (B/D grids, admin fees, protection), contract requirements, recognition programs, and other team-based systemsIdentify and implement enhancements related to systems, processing, and reportingProvide advanced client support to help advisors adopt and navigate Practice Management and Teaming offerings by assessing their objectives, analyzing financial scenarios, creatively solving challenges, and providing concrete recommendationsRespond to escalated client service requests and resolve complex issues, especially related to the Teaming platformEngage with Teaming Directors to help them optimize Practice Management and Teaming support within their firmsImplement communications and marketing plans to raise awareness and credibility of new or enhanced Practice Management and Teaming offeringsThe Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree5+ years of financial services industry experience3 years of demonstrated experience leading or driving programs or initiatives1+ year of experience understanding of advisor teams and how they operateThe Ideal QualificationsFINRA series 6 or 7Experience working in both the wealth management and insurance industriesAdvanced project management capabilitiesStrong analytical and creative problem-solving skillsProficient at analyzing data and performing complex financial analysesHigh degree of ownership, attention to detail, willingness to embrace continuous improvement opportunities, and challenge the status quoAdept at navigating ambiguous business situationsExceptional client service skills with ability to communicate nuanced concepts with clarityTeam player who is also comfortable working independentlyPreference to work in a fast-paced, high-demand, dynamic environmentWhat to Expect as Part of MassMutual and the TeamRegular meetings with the Head of Practice ManagementNetworking opportunities including access to Asian, Hispanic/Latinx, African American, women, LGBTQIA+, veteran and disability-focused Business Resource GroupsAccess to learning content on Degreed and other informational platformsYour ethics and integrity will be valued by a company with a strong and stable ethical business with industry leading pay and benefits#LI-RS1MassMutual is an equal employment opportunity employer.
