JOB DESCRIPTION
Nurse Assistant
Our Inpatient Oncology Unit is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Assistant to join our patient-centered team. This role is essential in supporting the daily comfort and well-being of our oncology patients. We welcome individuals who are new to healthcareno previous experience required. We will provide training and ongoing support to help you grow and succeed.
Provide daily bed baths and assist with personal hygiene for all assigned patients
Perform vital signs and report findings promptly to the nursing team
Assist with mobility, comfort measures, and basic patient care tasks
Complete basic computer documentation in the electronic health record
Support a calm, respectful, and healing environment for patients and families
Work collaboratively with nurses and the broader care team
Someone kind, patient, dependable, and committed to delivering compassionate care
Willingness and physical ability to provide daily hands-on care, including bathing
Comfort learning basic technical skills related to patient monitoring and computer charting
A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
