Puppeteer performers will operate a well-known character puppet and must be able to mimic iconic character traits. Puppeteering experience is required and rod puppeteering experience is a plus!An ideal candidate has weekend availability aims to exceed guest expectations and provide the highest quality of family entertainment. This role is compensated at a rate of $20.65/hr.Please bring a photo performance resume and a puppet to perform with.If you have any questions please email ResponsibilitiesUsing your talents to enrich Knotts Berry Farms atmosphere for guestsWorking as a member of a team to achieve overall entertainment goals set by leadership and show directorsConsistently performing your role as scripted and/or conceivedRemaining in character while onstage and in view of guests and interact with guests while performing in a professional and artistic mannerProviding guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guests or working with subordinates including initiating guest interactions answering questions and giving accurate directionsMaintaining cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervisionMeeting scheduling availability requirements that include nights weekends and holidaysFulfilling attendance requirements as outlined in attendance policiesAdhering to Six Flags Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and proceduresPerforming other duties as they are assignedQualificationsAvailability to work all assigned rehearsal and event dates that include weekday/weekends nights and holidays; weekend availability is requiredPuppeteering experience is a plusAbility to perform in outdoor venues in varying Southern California temperatures direct sunlight and weather conditionsWillingness and ability to wear assigned costumes and makeup for extended periods of timeAbility to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test per Company policy unless prohibited by state or provincial lawAbility to pass a background check if 18 years of age or older which may include but is not limited to credit criminal and DMVAbility to provide record of previous employment education and personal references per Company policy unless prohibited by federal state or provincial law Employment Type : Temp Experience: years Vacancy: 1
