JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description Job Description We are a growing electrical contracting company specializing in luxury residential, high-end commercial, and custom electrical installations throughout New York City, Westchester County, and New Jersey. We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Non-Working Foreman to oversee field operations and provide leadership to our electrical crews. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating manpower, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, monitoring quality control, and serving as the primary liaison between field personnel, project management, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily workforce assignments and ensure adequate manpower is available to meet project schedules
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements with field crews prior to the start of work
  • Coordinate material deliveries, equipment needs, and site logistics to ensure uninterrupted workflow and prevent project delays
  • Track labor production and provide daily progress updates to project management
  • Identify field conflicts, change conditions, and schedule impacts, and communicate them to project management for resolution
  • Enforce company safety policies and conduct routine safety inspections
  • Coordinate work activities with general contractors, owners, inspectors, utility companies, and other trades as required
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the electrical industry
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Certifications & Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Willingness to travel throughout NYC, SOME TIMES TO Westchester County, and New Jersey
  • OSHA 10 + OSHA 30 Certification
  • New Jersey Electrical License preferred
  • Ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, work on lifts, and perform physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying jobsite and weather conditions
