Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:We at Litman Excavating are looking for experienced diesel or equipment TechnicianGeneral duties may include but are not limited to:General preventative maintenance on dump trucks, vacuum trucks, tractors, and equipmentTroubleshooting any and all faults indicated by onboard systems, drivers or other personnelPerform authorized warranty work on new fleet vehicles (no previous certification needed)Use shop provided scan tools to assist in diagnosing faultsRequirements:Minimum RequirementsPunctual attendanceWillingness to learn and take direction from Senior staffHave your own tools or be willing to purchase them as neededStrong work ethic and moral baseOne year of verifiable experience in a shop, manufacturing, or industrial role that would have transferable knowledgeBasic knowledge of diesel engines and commercial vehiclesPreferred ExperienceDiesel aftertreatment in both trucks and equipmentBase engine buildingManufacture training courses or certificatesAbility to weld
