With 12 outpatient Pediatricians, 2 NPs, and many pediatric subspecialists on staff, including Hospital Medicine, PICU, Hematology/Oncology, Neonatology, PM&R, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Dermatology, Ophthalmology and Orthopedics, we are able to care for the area's most critically ill infants and children. Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center is a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.PRACTICE SPECIFICSWe are seeking a 1.0 FTE and one casual, Pediatric Gastroenterologist in Duluth, MN, to join our growing team.The Pediatric Gastroenterologist will:Partner with our current, full-time, Pediatric GI physician and support staff to grow servicesPerform a full spectrum of Endoscopy procedures in Essentia's state-of-the-art Digestive Health CenterRotate call with partnerPartner on all GI hospital admissions with acute care Pediatric Hospitalists and Intensivists who service as primaryBe supported by child-life specialists and other services uniquely designed for children and adolescentsJoin a robust pediatric subspecialty team as we continue to expand and grow services throughout our regionTreat patients/families coming from an area that includes North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan.Have access to continuing education and CME reimbursementBe provided with competitive salary and benefits package REQUIREMENTSBC/BE Pediatric Gastroenterology LOCATIONDuluth, MN – located at the westernmost tip of Lake Superior150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. PaulDuluth population: 86,000; Regional service area: 460,000 COMPENSATION$187.00 an hour.
