Provides health care to individuals and families emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise.Education Qualifications:NP/PA - Pediatrics Bismarck NDSeeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to care for newborns through teens in the outpatient setting. Provide the full range of pediatric medicine in an enjoyable and fulfilling work environment. 1.0 FTE full-time status (36 patient contact hours).1.0 FTE full-time statusAverage 36 patient contact hours in clinic; 4 hours of professional timeMust be pediatric trained and certified through PNCB or ANCC (PPCNP-BC) or within the first year of employment; experience working as a PNP is preferred.The Nurse Practitioner utilizes advanced health assessment knowledge and decision-making skills works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Provides health care to individuals and families emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. The candidate provides care to children and adolescents aged 0-18 years old emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. This is a full-time position with 36 patient contact hours per week and 4 hours of professional time.Education/Training:Masters or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited program/institution.Pediatric certified through PNCB or able to obtain within first year of employment.Licensure/Certification Qualifications:Current licensure/ability to secure as a registered nurse in ND.Current licensure/ability to secure as a Nurse Practitioner in NDCurrent certification in CPR; requires PALS Certification.
