Bring your ideas to Boeing and help shape the future of aerospace manufacturing.Primary Responsibilities:Provides numerical control machining and programming technical expertise to support the design and manufacture of parts and assemblies.Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.Plans creates verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD) geometry and documentation that directs the operations of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts tools and assemblies.Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods processes software and equipment.Works under general direction.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):1 years of experience with computer aided design (CAD) tools for the design of undefinedAbility to read understand and interpret engineering drawings.1 years experience utilizing CAD/CAM software (preferred CATIA Vericut simulation MasterCAM).Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAssociate degree or higher.4 years experience utilizing CATIA V5 NC Programming and Vericut within a 5-axis machining environment.4 years experience with the set-up maintenance trouble shooting and repair of machine tools.Previous metrology experience including application of GD&T.Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Union Representation:This is a Union Represented position.In locations where SPEEA representation applies this job family will be covered by the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
