Nurse Practitioner Occupational Health ProgressiveHealth Occ Health LLC San Antonio TXProudly Partnering with H-E-B!Be part of a team dedicated to supporting H-E-B employees through innovative occupational health and injury prevention programs.ProgressiveHealth is looking for PRN Nurse Practitioners to join our team at an H-E-B distribution facility in San Antonio this role youll provide occupational health services in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Youll work directly with employees helping them stay healthy safe and productive while supporting injury prevention and wellness programs. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive and growth-focused company!What will you be doing in this roleProviding direct onsite patient care services and professional services to meet client-requested coverage hoursDelivering occupational health services including assessments histories physical exams and treatmentsPrescribing medications and medical treatments based on evidence-based practice standardsCollaborating with nursing and safety staff to implement medical protocols procedures and emergency plansProviding guidance and education to additional clinical staff as appropriateSupporting injury prevention initiatives and wellness programs to improve employee health and productivityMonitoring employee health conducting surveillance for occupational and non-occupational health risks and responding to health concernsThis does not necessarily list all responsibilities duties requirements or efforts associated with the job. While this list is intended to be an accurate reflection of the job the company reserves the right to review and modify the functions duties and requirements of the job or to require that additional or different tasks be performed as circumstances or business needs require.Our ideal candidate will have:Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with Board CertificationActive unrestricted Nurse Practitioner in state of practice locationâNot currently have any professional disciplinary proceeding of any state or federal authorities or any disciplinary action of any medical facility in any jurisdictionHas never been excluded suspended or otherwise sanctioned by Medicare Medicaid or any other third-party payor nor listed on any state or government list of excluded individuals parties or specially designated nationals list as debarred excluded or otherwise ineligible for participation in government healthcare programs.CPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communicationBe able to maintain confidentialityBasic computer skills including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook Word PowerPoint and ExcelA healthcare provider must hold a valid and in-good-standing license and/or certification to practice in the State or Country where the facility of employment is located; or be eligible to obtain such a license and have current CPR/AED/BLS certification.If clinical operations require writing prescriptions for controlled substances a valid DEA license is required.What you get from us:Opportunity for important work/life balanceFlexible schedulingOpportunities for growth and advancement with the ProgressiveHealth family of companiesEligibility to Work:This position requires candidates to be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa (e.g. H-1B OPT etc.).About ProgressiveHealth:ProgressiveHealth is the premier provider of a broad spectrum of occupational and non-occupational health services including on-site medical injury prevention health improvement rehabilitation management solutions and more!
