Nursing Care Attendant at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

In an ongoing attempt to provide quality patient care the Nursing Care Attendant (NCA) will at the direction and the discretion of the R.N. carry out individual patient care activities in a timely manner. It is the responsibility of the NCA to communicate with the R.N. and to seek clarification of assignments.As a Nursing Care Attendant in our After Completion of Therapy and Endocrine Clinics youll join a collaborative team of nurses who work on the frontlines of patient this role youll see patients of various ages who are off therapy and returning for health evaluations as well as patients who are currently on therapy. Full time position: 5 shifts per week 8 hours a day 7:00am-3:30pm Minimal weekend requirement and some holiday requirements Minimum Education and/or Training:High school diploma/GED.Graduation from approved school indicating completion of nursing assistant training or completion of foundations of nursing from an accredited nursing programMinimum Experience:Pediatric experience preferredCompensationIn recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
