Job DescriptionA well-respected community hospital in southern New Hampshire is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead its Birthing Suite. This is an exciting opportunity to guide a dedicated team influence clinical quality and shape an exceptional patient-centered experience for mothers and families.About the RoleAs the Director of Nursing for the Birthing Suite you will provide strategic and operational leadership for the department. You will oversee daily operations mentor and develop staff and ensure the delivery of safe evidence-based and compassionate patient care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership direction and evaluation for Labor & Delivery staff to ensure safe effective and high-quality care.Participate in recruitment hiring onboarding and retention of nursing personnel.Serve as a clinical resource and support for staff fostering a positive collaborative work environment.Ensure efficient patient flow workflow optimization and adherence to best practices.Review departmental financial reports and identify opportunities for cost-effective operations without compromising care quality.QualificationsBSN required; MSN preferredActive RN licenseMinimum 5 years of experience in Obstetrics Labor & Delivery or Womens HealthMinimum 2 years of leadership experiencePosition DetailsFull-time permanent roleSchedule: Monday-Friday daysCompetitive compensation comprehensive benefits and attractive perksIf youre interested in advancing your career in a supportive community hospital environment we encourage you to apply.
