Job DescriptionJob Description:Our client is seeking to add a PIP Claims Examiner to their. This person would be responsible for directly handling moderate to complex New York PIP claims.Responsibilities of this position include coverage analysis investigation reserving and settlement of assigned NY PIP claims.Develop plan of action to proactively conclude claims timely evaluate damages engage other parties in negotiations and settle claims pursuant to guidelines.Establish and maintain proper reserves for each claim to accurately reflect the financial exposure.Requirements:8 years of experience handling NY PIP claimsNY License RequiredExperience handling PIP claims in other jurisdictions a plus!Bachelors Degree PreferredNeed to be proficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelKnowledge of applicable claim procedures statutes compliance insurance laws and insurance coverageSalary/Benefits:$75000- $85000/year (based on experience)Annual bonus potentialMedical Dental and Vision benefits#LI-MW1#LI-PR1 Key Skills Load & Unload,Organizational skills,Financial Concepts,Fraud,Math,Mediation Experience,Pricing,Conflict Management,Workers' Compensation Law,Medicare,negotiation,Workers' Compensation Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
