Technician (CST) Contract Location: New York NY 10019 Duration: 9 Weeks Schedule: Evening Shift 3:00 PM 11:15 PM MonFri Hours: 37.5 per week Pay Rate: $55 $60/hr Requirements: CST Certification (Required) High School Diploma L&D OR experience requiredJob SummaryNavitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to support perioperative services in a high-volume operating room. Works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to maintain sterile technique prepare surgical instruments assist surgeons and ensure patient safety.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform scrub duties: surgical scrub gowning/gloving sterile field setup patient draping and anticipating surgeon needs.Maintain accurate sponge/needle/instrument counts and uphold strict aseptic technique.Handle specimens assist with dressings operate equipment and support patient transfers.Assist with circulating functions: room setup positioning equipment prep procedure documentation and OR turnover.Prepare and label medications under direct RN supervision (no handling of narcotics).Support OR operations: supply management equipment updates patient transport and maintaining organized sterile areas.QualificationsHigh School Diploma required.Completion of an accredited CST program and active CST certification.Prior Operating Room experience required; Labor & Delivery OR preferred.Strong communication teamwork attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.For more details contact at About Navitas Healthcare LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
