Medical Assistant (Womens HealthOB-GYN) at East Liberty Family Health Care Center

The Medical Assistant will support OB-GYN providers in delivering compassionate community-centered care. This includes assisting with prenatal visits patient education clinical documentation and routine procedures. They may perform duties such as measuring vital signs assisting with medical procedures documenting patient information providing patient education handling administrative tasks like scheduling appointments and managing medical records collaborating with multidisciplinary teams ensuring compliance with regulations and engaging in continuous learning to stay updated with medical advancements. Key Responsibilities:Prepare exam rooms and assist with OB-GYN proceduresRecord patient histories and vital signsAdminister injections and collect specimensSchedule follow-ups and manage patient flowSupport providers with documentation and patient educationQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent required. Medical Assistant Certification preferredProficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite Ability to multitask and be flexible with workload. Ability to effectively communicate with community members staff and shareholders of all levels.Bilingual preferred.CRITICAL SKILLS/ REQUIREMENTSStrong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively and professionally in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail analytical ability and accuracy in all work.
