Opportunity DetailsNorthwest Texas Healthcare System is assisting Texas Tech Health Sciences Center University (TTUHSC) School of Medicine in Amarillo Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in recruiting a BC/BEOB/GYN physician for a position with the faculty group Texas Tech Physicians of Amarillo.The Department andOB/GYN Residency Program at TTUHSC at Amarillois a collegial tight-knitcommunity of residents and faculty with a big mission to train confident and compassionate physicians and deliver evidence-based family-centered care for a diverse population in an open learning environment. The department averages 2500 clinic visits a month and performs 2000 deliveries and 500 gynecologic surgeries per year.Northwest Texas Healthcare System training site for the program is a tertiary care facility and regional trauma center providing care to the nearly 500000 residents of the 26-county Texas Panhandle area and surrounding region and border states. NWTHS is a Level III Maternal Designation facility providing specialized care for high-risk pregnancies.
