Staffing ManagerLocation: Oakland County MIReports to: Director of OperationsAbout the RoleSIGMA HomeCare is seeking a Staffing Manager to lead internal recruitment and workforce placement operations. This position is responsible for managing external team members who coordinate Direct Care Worker (DCW) assignments to clients. Youll play a key role in ensuring our clients receive timely appropriate care while keeping shift coverage rates high and client satisfaction strong.Key ResponsibilitiesInternal Recruitment & OnboardingRecruit interview and onboard internal staff for care coordination and scheduling rolesPost and manage job ads screen candidates and conduct interviewsHandle onboarding compliance document tracking and system setup for new hiresStaffing Oversight & CoordinationSupervise internal staff who are responsible for aligning DCWs with client schedulesMaintain up-to-date caregiver availability logs and client preferencesMonitor responsiveness reliability and call-off recovery planningTrack metrics such as fill rates time-to-hire and staffing gapsPlanning & CollaborationCollaborate with care and client services teams to forecast staffing needsLead weekly team huddles and provide staffing performance updatesSupport accountability training and scheduling process improvementsRequirements2 years of experience in staffing workforce coordination or internal recruitmentExperience in home care human services or healthcare preferredDemonstrated ability to lead hiring pipelines and supervise onboarding workflowsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailFamiliarity with ATS platforms and scheduling systemsBased in or near Oakland County MI and able to work onsite/hybridWhy This Role MattersYoure not just managing a process-youre building the team that ensures clients receive life-changing care.
