ObGyn Physician at Tandym Health

A health services organization in Missouri is actively seeking a licensed Physician to join its growing Inpatient Obstetrics & Gynecology team in St. Louis. This role provides hospital-based care for pregnant and postpartum patients in a busy obstetric emergency department with both day and night shift coverage.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Days orNights
• Hours: 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am
• Setting: Inpatient hospital-based obstetric emergency department

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and manage pregnant and postpartum patients presenting with obstetric and gynecologic concerns
• Provide labor and delivery coverage, including vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, and management of complicated deliveries
• Perform emergency stabilization and interventions for high-acuity obstetric situations
• Interpret fetal monitoring and perform or interpret obstetric ultrasound studies as needed
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers and support staff while maintaining accurate electronic medical records

Qualifications:

• Active Missouri Physician license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact eligibility.
• Board Eligible or Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience managing low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, labor and delivery, and obstetric emergencies
• Experience with fetal heart rate interpretation, obstetric ultrasound, and routine gynecologic procedures

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Epic EMRs
• Background in Inpatient Obstetric Emergency Department coverage
• Familiarity with minor Gynecologic procedures, such as IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, or LEEP
