The area provides an excellent quality of life with affordable living, proximity to outdoor recreation, and is conveniently located between Toledo and Columbus.Facility:This well-established hospital provides comprehensive women's health services with a dedicated OB/GYN department featuring 10 LDRP rooms, 3 postpartum rooms, and 1 triage area. The facility also includes a 12-bed normal newborn nursery and utilizes the EPIC electronic medical records system for streamlined documentation.Opportunity:Board Certified - Obstetrics and GynecologyJob Details:• Locum tenens position providing on-call coverage for specific dates throughout • Hospital ER/GYN and Labor & Delivery call responsibilities• Practice alongside 2 physicians and 5 CNMs in a collaborative environment• Handle diverse caseload: 40-50% gynecology with 1-4 GYN surgeries daily• Manage C-sections (15-35% of deliveries) and all OB/GYN related surgical procedures• Support newborn care with average daily census of 3-4 newborns• Must have active Ohio license (IMLC may be considered for listed dates)• Required certifications: NRP, ACLS, and Board Certification• COVID vaccine preferred, flu vaccine required at time of credentialing• 60-90 day credentialing timeframe (emergency temporary privileges possible with clean background)• Call is not in-house• Weekend coverage is part of the schedule• Must have availability for specific dates listed in the job descriptionCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
