The facility utilizes EPIC electronic medical records system and provides full office staff and specialized delivery staff in the hospital to ensure excellent patient care and efficient operations.Opportunity:Board Certified/Eligible - Obstetrics and GynecologyJob Details:• 24-hour call coverage (7a-7a), including up to 4 hours daily rounding • Remote call support with on-site response as needed • Coverage dates: December 24-29, January 20, 22, March 17, April 22 • Respond to calls regarding patients with prior cesarean in labor attempting vaginal delivery • Round on cesarean patients and antepartum patients when MFM is not on call • Respond to calls from Midwives (CNM), Emergency Department, or consulting physicians • Handle maternal transports from outside facilities • Perform circumcisions and tubal ligations • Conduct C-section deliveries and operative vaginal deliveries • Perform OB/GYN surgical procedures • Average on-site time generally not exceeding six hours per call • Work with a team including one Midwife, one OB/GYN, and one MFM • Must be skilled in low and high risk pregnancies • Capable of FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) • Proficient in OB ultrasound performance and interpretation • Experience with amniocentesis procedures • Able to manage both routine and complicated deliveries • Skilled in both open and laparoscopic gynecological procedures • Must maintain active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC • ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required • Credentialing timeframe approximately 10 daysCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
