Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician at SUMO Medical Staffing

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced OBGYN Hospitalist/Physician to work locum shifts in Nevada County, California (1 hour outside of Sacramento) (CA). Starting as soon as possible, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits. The Obstetrics and Gynecology role: Need: Locums starting August thru December for maternity coverage. Setting: Hospital setting with a dedicated Family Birthing Center (L&D floor) which has its own OR for C-sections. Duties: Deliveries (average 23-30 deliveries per month), C-sections, ED call coverage for OB/GYN related issues. Required Procedures: All OBGYN. Specific procedures TBD EMR: Cerner Support Staff: Anaesthesiologists (1 on-call after hours and on weekends for OR's and FBC) General Surgeons, 3 local OB/GYN's, 1 Family Medicine OB, Pediatrician on-call, experienced and skilled Respiratory Therapists. Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role: CA state license; active, unrestricted Board Eligible or Board Certified CA State DEA Covid Vaccination- Required or Medical Exemption Benefits: Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience and certifications) Housing and transportation needs covered.
