Occupational Therapist (OT) In HouseJob Type : Per DiemDESCRIPTIONEvolve Therapy Services is a therapy management organization hiring compassionate therapists for our partner located in Mount Sterling KY!Job Position: Occupational Therapist for an In-house Skilled Nursing FacilityJob Type: PRNJob Purpose: To plan organize develop and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal state and local standards guidelines and regulations and as may be directed by Administrator to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.Job Functions: Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals Interpret and communicate evaluation findings treatment plans and recommendations to residents families/caregivers and interdisciplinary team members Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients Oversee COTA as needed and ensure all documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices are being followedEducation & Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy MUST have an Active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state(s) Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and Key Skills Body Mechanics,Early Intervention,Acute Care,Communication skills,HIPAA,Autism Experience,Computer Literacy,Pediatrics Experience,Home Care,Heavy Lifting,Patient Service Experience,Medicare Employment Type : Part-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
